1st - 4th October, 2008, Jurgita KuprytÄ—, the director of SOPA, participated in the contact seminar “Engaging Ethnic Minorities in the Lifelong Learning and Employment”, which was held Chester, United Kingdom. The participation at the seminar was supported by European Commission under the Lifelong Learning programme.

The aim of the seminar was to initiate new projects relating to national minorities, education and employment. At the seminar contacts with organizations from the Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Belgium, Norway and other European countries were established and ideas for new partnership project on Supported Employment were discussed. It is planned to submit application in February 2009.
